IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Aaron Robert
Fritz
May 27, 1986 – December 15, 2025
Aaron Robert Fritz, 39, of York, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at York Hospital.
Born on May 27, 1986, in York, Aaron was the son of Dr. Robert A. Fritz and Dr. Lisa A. (Ost) Fritz, of York. He was a 2007 graduate of the Dallastown Area School District. Throughout his life, Aaron was a bright light in the world, someone who encouraged everyone around him to view life through a lens of joy and laughter. He had an extraordinary gift for making people feel special, whether they had known him for years or had just met him. Love followed Aaron wherever he went, and he shared it freely and unconditionally.
Aaron was an incredibly talented artist who spent much of his time creating artwork for those he loved. Music, especially musicals, was a constant source of happiness for Aaron, and in his final moments he was surrounded by his family, listening to the songs he loved most.
In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his siblings, Alyssa Fritz (Lasey), Eric Fritz, and Emily Hykes (John); and his cherished niece and nephews, Lillian Hykes, Rogan Fritz, and Beckett Fritz. He is also lovingly remembered by his devoted dog, Raya, who was rarely far from his side and brought him endless comfort and companionship.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Christina and Daniel Ost and Francis and Alfred Fritz, as well as his beloved dogs, Holly, Meggie, Matti, and Kylie, who held a special place in his heart and were family to him in every sense.
Aaron leaves behind a legacy of happiness, laughter, and unconditional love. His presence made ordinary moments brighter, and his spirit will continue to live on through the stories shared, the music played, and the joy he taught others to find.
In lieu of a traditional service, Aaron's family will host a celebration of life in his memory in May 2026, just as he would have wanted. Date to be announced later. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions in Aaron's memory may be made to the York County Special Olympics, P.O. Box 333, Dover, PA 17315, or to the Special Blessings Sunday School Class at Aldersgate Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, PA 17403.
