Obituary

Andrew J. Tempel, of Dallastown, entered into rest on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 3:23 AM at Wellspan York Hospital at the age of 76. He was the husband of Bin Wu. Andrew was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 20, 1945 and was the son of the late Andrew Joel and Margaret Catherine (Jensen) Tempel. He was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. After his military service, Andrew obtained a Bachelors in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. Andrew was a member of the White Rose Bridge Club and enjoyed playing his guitar, gardening, and visiting local wineries. He frequently traveled, especially to visit with his loved ones. Besides his wife, he leaves behind his two daughters, Kathryn "Katie" Y. Knight, of Perry Hall, MD, Meghan C. Butler, of Parkville, MD, his two sons, Travis M. Tempel and wife, Angeli, of Fairfax, VA, Dr. Richard A. Tempel and wife, Amanda, of Wintergarden, FL as well as his seven grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. Services and burial will be private. Interment will take place at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Lutherville-Timonium. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
