Barbara Marian (Rexroth) Kunselman, 85 of Snyder Corner Road, Red Lion passed away peacefully at her home February 4,2023 after a long battle with PSP. She was the loving wife of Brian Kunselman and the wife of the late Charles W. Grimm who passed away in 1997.
Born on May 20, 1937, she was the daughter of Clarence and Marian Rexroth. She graduated from Red Lion High School in 1955. Barb was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion where she sang in the choir and was a church soloist for many years. She was also a member of the Four-Fold Friends Sunday school class. Barb was an active member of VNA hospice as a grief counselor. Barb was employed as a hostess for Lion's Pride Restaurant and a Banquet coordinator at the Great American Saloon and sold Avon for 32 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Cindy Cooper and husband Roger, Beverly Estep and husband David, and Charles Grimm Jr. and wife Dierdre, two stepchildren: Ryan and Victoria Kunselman, six grandchildren: Tim, Shawn, Jenni, Pelle, Marci, and Caitlin, eight great-grandchildren: Cali, Shai, Dylan, Rowan, Carli, Kiran, Mason and Sydney and one great-great-grandson Jackson. Barb was preceded in death by her first husband Charles W. Grimm, five brothers, Daniel Burke, Claire Rexroth, Clarence Rexroth, Chet Rexroth, and Curvin "fats" Rexroth, and an infant granddaughter Tracey Louis Grimm.
Barb deeply loved God, her family, and her country. She also had a loving heart for all animals and would have been happy if it snowed every day.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 11th from 9-10am at Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Barbara will begin at 10 am at the church. Burg Funeral Home, Inc. 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion will be assisting the family with the arrangements. Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bethany UMC, at the address listed above, or to Amedisys Hospice Care, 2708 Commerce Drive, Ste. 300, Harrisburg, PA 17110, or to any animal rescue organization in her honor.
