Obituary

Beth E. (Little) McCleary-Workinger, 45, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, wrapped in her husband's arms at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013, at Community Care Hospice in Mt. Joy. She was the wife of Gary P. Workinger, whom she married on December 28, 2012. She was born June 11, 1967, in York, the daughter of Michael S. Little and step daughter of Rita M. (Wueschinski) Little of Dover, and the late Helen Mae (Wantz) Little. Beth was a PTI assembler at Harley Davidson for 24 years and was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in York. In addition to her husband, father and step mother, she is survived by a daughter, Briana McCleary of Arizona; a son, Garrett McDonald of Dover; a brother, Wayne Little of West York; and two sisters, Lacey Foller and Kristine Kosac, both of Dover; maternal grandmother, Helen L. (Mundis) Wantz of York; paternal step grandmother, Dolores V. Wueschinski; aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous nieces and nephews; five sisters-in-law, Joyce Rosengrant (Donald) of Red Lion, Rose Young (Carl) of Dalmatia, PA, Patricia Crouse of York, Dona Smyser of York, Dawn Bleecher (Mark) of Lancaster; and four brothers-in-law, Ronald Bankert (Brenda) of Lititz, Llewelyn Workinger (fiancee' Gelchie) of York, John Workinger (Becky) of Gettysburg and Michael Workinger (Vicky) of York. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Daniel Smyser. Viewing will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 10 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with her pastor, the Rev. Judith A. McKee, officiating, assisted by Deacon Neil Crispo of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of York. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to: York Health Foundation, Cancer Patient Help Fund - 912 S. George St., York, PA 17403. Beth enjoyed riding her motorcycle and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful loving wife to Gary. In a short time, I'll see my Angel in Heaven. Our love will be Eternal. Love, Gary.
