It is with sincere sorrow that we announce Brian Vaughan Bentley, of York, died peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 12:30 am at the age of 68. He was the cherished husband of Deborah Ann (Snyder) Bentley, whom he married on June 27, 2003.

Brian was born in Bronxville, New York on September 7, 1956, to the late Temple V., Jr. and Grace F. (Schmidt) Bentley. Beginning in the 80's, Brian was employed by General Motors in Tarrytown, NY, and then became a devoted employee of Stewart Connector for over 40 years from where he eventually retired. A wonderful and kind man with a great sense of humor, Brian loved animals, camping, and the outdoors. He had a passion for motorcycles, was an enthusiastic gun collector, and possessed remarkable musical talent, mastering various instruments. He enjoyed spending time tinkering around the house, was a master mechanic, receiving a patent for some of his work, and earned the title of "BBQ King" for his grilling expertise.

Besides his loving wife, Brian leaves his sister, Susan Halpern and husband, William of Harrison, NY. He was the adoring uncle to his two nephews, Kristoffer and Nicholas Halpern, both of Harrison, NY.

A viewing for Brian will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Joshua Wargo of Chapel Church officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Union Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to the wonderful staff at Hospice & Community Care for the care given to Brian over the last several weeks.
