IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian
Keeney
September 21, 1975 – March 30, 2025
Brian Keeney, age 49, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 30, 2025, surrounded by the embrace of his loving family. After a long and courageous battle, he found rest. Born in York on September 21, 1975, Brian was the beloved son of Michael and Darlene (Noecker) Keeney. He was not only a devoted husband but also the best friend and partner to Gloria (Moore) Keeney, his wife of 25 beautiful years. They were married on May 1, 1999, building a life rich with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship.
A proud 1994 graduate of Red Lion High School, Brian forged his own path as a master craftsman, founding Keen-Built Construction, LLC. With steady hands and an artist's touch, he brought wood to life, shaping the very walls and furnishings of his home with skill and devotion. His creations were more than just pieces of furniture—they were stories, memories, and lasting legacies of his talent.
Faith was the foundation of Brian's life. As a worshiper at Susquehanna Grace Community Church in Wrightsville, he found strength and purpose in his beliefs. He was a man of the land, drawn to the beauty of the great outdoors, where he found solace as an avid sportsman. But perhaps nothing stirred his soul quite like the roar of sprint car racing. Lincoln Speedway was his second home, a place where his heart raced alongside the car he proudly sponsored, the "5a."
Yet above all else, Brian's greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife, Gloria, and their precious daughters, Nicole and Katelyn. His love was boundless, extending even to his faithful four-legged companion, Parker, whose presence brought him endless joy.
Brian's legacy of kindness, strength, and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He is deeply missed by his wife, children, and parents, as well as his sister, Janet Ritz, and her husband, Matt; his brothers, Kevin Keeney and his wife, Dana, and Alan Keeney; his paternal grandmother, Norma Jean Keeney; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of Brian's life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to 11:00am and again at a time of fellowship following the service.
Arrangements are being handled by Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion.
