C. Louise Wink YORK C. Louise (Foose) Wink, 93, entered into rest at 1 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Rest Haven. She was the wife of George A. Wink, who entered into rest on July 7, 1986. She was born in York on January 12, 1919, the daughter of the late Clarence N. and Sarah V. (Ernst) Foose and her late step-mother, Rebecca (Gorsuch) Foose. Louise was a homemaker, a charter member of the York Alliance Church in York where she was involved in teaching Sunday School and the Children's Ministries for many years. She leaves a daughter, Juanita L. Sternbergh and husband, Dexter of North York, Toronto; four grandchildren, Daniel and Adam Sternbergh, Katy Weber and Teri Ivey; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert James Foose of Smyran, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Rebecca (Peggy) D. Holmes on October 8, 2002 and Iris M. Wink on March 10, 1994. There will be no viewing. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Her pastor, Rev. Timothy L. Shuey will officiate. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
