Calvin D. Joines, 85, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his residence. He was the loving husband of Brenda D. (Frey) Joines, sharing 63 years of marriage.

Calvin was born in Laurel, PA, on March 13, 1941, son of the late Lester Major and Lessie Bell (Grace) Joines.

Calvin proudly served in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked as a tool and die maker at Autocraft before working at Caterpillar as a machinist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Jody Warner and her husband, Greg; son, Jason Joines and his wife, Missy; three grandchildren, Beth Runkle and her husband, Woody, Dakota Joines, and Mikayla Joines; two great-granddaughters, Jade and Rebecca Frey; and his brother, Chet Joines and his wife, Deanie. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Dewey Joines, Barbara Flinchbaugh, Clara King, and Nancy Simpson.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
