Carey P. Ferree, of York, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1:12 am at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home at the age of 62. He was the husband of Bobbi J. (Hose) Ferree of York to whom he married on May 30, 1986, celebrating 31 years together. He worked in the Housekeeping Department at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home for fifteen years. Carey enjoyed the Citizen's Band Radio, computers and cell phones. He is survived by his loving wife and his three children, Josh A. Ferree, Jason A. Ferree and Nichelle L. Ferree all of York. Carey was a very loving and doting grandfather to his two grandchildren, Quentin A. Ferree and Emma M. Ferree. He has a brother, Marc W. Ferree of Red Lion and a niece and two nephews. Viewing will be on Tuesday, October 3rd from 6-7 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Carey will begin at 7 pm at the funeral home. Rev. David D. Tietje, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private at Mt. Rose Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
