IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carmen Jo
Mula
May 4, 1951 – January 27, 2024
Carmen Jo Mula, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Wellspan York Hospital with her family by her side.
Born in York on May 4, 1951, Carmen was the daughter of Joseph A. and Gloria M. (Kohler) Mula. She attended York Catholic High School and graduated in 1969. She continued her education at Pittsburgh Institute of Art after which she had a brief career in Interior Design. Carmen found her true passion in sales and had a lengthy career with Quality Roofing Supply Co, based in Lancaster County.
Carmen was blessed to grow up close to extended family. She had a very special relationship with her Aunt Carmen Jackson who followed her to heaven on Sunday, January 28th. She was raised with a scattering of cousins that were more like siblings with whom she remained close. Her happiest times were spent traveling near and far with family and close friends. She spent time traveling the United States and countless countries abroad.
In addition to her parents, Carmen is survived by her brother, Fredrick Mula and wife, Jane; her niece and nephew Joseph Mula (Kelly), Amanda Cregger (Brad); three great nieces and one great nephew.
Carmen will be remembered as fiercely independent, stubborn as a "mule", loyal, kind, and generous. Her unsolicited advice will be very missed by all those close to her.
She was a lifetime member of Saint Rose of Lima Church.
Catholic Mass will be held at St Rose of Lima Church, 950 W. Market Street, York on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be offered to a charity of your choosing.
