Chris E. Kauffman, of York, entered into rest at his home after a courageous battle with cancer on the morning of Friday, February 23, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 57. He was the husband of Joyce E. (Markey) Kauffman to whom he married on November 23, 2002.

Chris was born in York on May 29, 1966 to the late Earl Edward and Clara Hughes (Miller) Kauffman. He graduated from Red Lion High School, class of 1984 and obtained his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Millersville University in 1988. He was employed with Christmas Tree Hill. Chris was a member of Gideons International and was an active member of Spry Church. In his free time, he enjoyed daily runs outside and cherished time with his family. Chris was deeply devoted to his Lord.

Besides his loving wife, Chris leaves his two daughters, Andie N. Arvin of Lancaster and Katie E. Arvin of York. He is survived by his brother, Lee E. Kauffman and wife, Melody of Hellam along with his nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Chris will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion and Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Spry Church – Pine Grove Campus, 2523 Pine Grove Road, York, PA 17403. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Luke Harbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Stonepile Church Cemetery.
