Chris D. Shirey of Goodlettsville, TN, went from life to Life Eternal on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 6:43PM at the Nashville VA Medical Center of Nashville at the age of 60. He was born in York on January 22, 1960 and was the son of the late Arthur E. Jr and Jane Frances (Harris) Shirey. Chris was a graduate York County Vocational Technical School, class of 1978. He enjoyed music, traveling, going to the shore and watching old time TV shows. He was also a United States Marine Corp Veteran. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in St. John's the Baptist Cemetery. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion will be assisting the family with arrangements. Chris leaves behind a brother, Steven A. Shirey of Goodlettsville TN and brother in law, Thomas Corritore, along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Debra Edwards who entered into rest in August of 2013 and Gail Shirey who entered into rest in March of 2019.
