IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Connie Fae
Nolt
June 12, 1958 – June 14, 2024
"My Last Flight Home"
Connie Fae Nolt, of Wrightsville, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a brief stay at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 66.
She was born in Lancaster, PA on June 12, 1958 to Colleen Fae (Beach) Nolt of Lancaster and the late Richard K. Nolt, Sr. Connie held several different positions with various companies over the years; however, her favorite position was delivering fireworks for Liberty Island, where she was able to work with many friends and acquaintances.
Connie was a deeply creative and artistic person. She spent much of her early years sewing, making macrame home goods, counted cross-stitch, leather goods, sand art sculptures, beadwork, jewelry pairing and much more. She lovingly hand-made gifts for her family and friends over the years, always adding a thoughtful touch.
She had various hobbies she was passionate about including bowling (instructor), girl scouts (leader), street hockey, motorcycles, Nascar, Steelers football, bird watching, coin collecting, cooking, and more.
She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, attending concerts, raising animals (dogs, parakeets, cats, and even chipmunks), being outdoors, and selflessly supporting her friends and loved ones as she was able to. Later in life, Connie took interest in reading the bible and keeping up with current events, something she was very passionate about. She would often call friends and family to share information she learned to help guide them in their own journey. She had a keen insight, often predicting events before they happened.
Connie loved making new memories and having a good laugh, many times making others within earshot crack a smile. On a whim, she would drop in to visit with friends and family as her way of showing she cared. When loved ones were sick, she was the first person to call or send a card.
Connie gave more than she received. She had acquaintances everywhere and used her life as a lesson, overcoming many obstacles along the way. She prided herself in being unique and always found creative ways to coordinate jewelry and clothes to make a statement and make others smile. She led her life unapologetically and with an honest heart.
Connie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially by her daughter who she shared many special, unforgettable memories with. Connie leaves her daughter, Nadine M. Downie and husband, Raymond of Wrightsville; her brothers, Randall K. Nolt and wife, Wendy of Gordonville and Richard K. Nolt, Jr. and wife, Rhonda of New York. She will be dearly missed by her niece, Bianca Vallance and husband, Chase of New York; her nephews, Nicholas Nolt of New York and Zackory Nolt of Gordonville. She leaves her one aunt and several cousins. Connie was preceded in death by her companion, Tim J. "TJ" Geiger on March 22, 2013, and her faithful furry companion, Lil Bear on May 6, 2019.
A service for Connie will take place on Saturday, August 17th at 2 p.m. at her daughter's residence: 224 Orange Street, Wrightsville, PA.
Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting with arrangements.
