Darwin Lamar Rupp took the hand of his Lord and Savior when he heard him call on Monday, February 8, 2021, at 1:01 pm from Penn State Hershey Medical Center at the age of 72. He was born in Red Lion and was the son of the late Wilford David and Hazel Erelue (Zeigler) Rupp. Darwin graduated from Red Lion High School Class of 1956. He worked for the railroad, the former Borg Warner, David Smith Electrical, Yorktowne Cabinets and OUC Power Plant in Florida where he retired after many years. He then owned a motor route carrier (for the Orlando Sun newspaper delivery). Darwin lived in Tampa and Orlando, Florida for more than 30 years and loved the beach, prior to moving back to PA. Darwin had no children of his own, but he had many family members who he was remarkably close to. He leaves his sister, Shirley A. Tredway of Red Lion. He was the loving uncle to Suzette Snyder (Matthew W.) of Red Lion, Cynthia A. Holland (Todd M.) of York, David Rupp of Brogue, Tammy Bennett of Dover, and great uncle to Joseph D.
