IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Wiley
Amos
June 9, 1954 – July 28, 2025
David Wiley Amos, of Chanceford Township, formerly of New Park, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 28, 2025. Born in Baltimore on June 9, 1954, he was the son of the late George Kenneth Amos and the late Helen Ruth Wiley.
David spent most of his life farming in Harford County, Maryland, where he took pride in working the land. In more recent years, he could be found stocking shelves at Saubel's Market in Stewartstown, always ready with a quick remark and a quiet smile. He enjoyed watching old westerns, tinkering with antique tractors, telling a joke with his signature dry humor, caring for his chickens, and spending time with his dogs—his best bud, "Izzy," and his loyal guard dog, "Dash."
David especially valued time with his family. He will be missed by his daughters, Jamie Lynn Shriver and Theresa Clark; his grandchildren, Kayla Clark, Kamron Knaper, Kayden Knaper, Ethan Shriver, and Ava Shriver; and his great-granddaughter, Allison "Pippy" Rollhauser. He is also survived by his estranged daughter Erin Amos and his estranged grandson Logan Booth and remembered by his ex-wife, Ann Amos, to whom he was happily divorced!
In accordance with his wishes, services for David will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
