David Ray Blouse, of New Bridgeville, entered into God's care on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 , surrounded by his loving family, at York Hospital at the age of 74. He was the son of the late Ray Allen and Pauline Anna (Lentz) Blouse. David was born in Chanceford Township on September 29, 1943. He attended Gipes One Room School House. He was a member of Shenberger's Chapel Church in New Bridgeville. He has a brother, Greg D. Blouse of New Bridgeville and his girlfriend, Joanne Albright and a sister, Denise C. Fisher. He was the loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A viewing for David will be on Monday, September 17th from 9-10 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for David will begin at 10 am at the funeral home with Rev. David D. Tietje, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion, officiating. Burial will take place at Shenberger's Chapel Cemetery. David loved to smile and laugh. He loved all animals, country music, especially George Jones who he saw in concert, wrestling on TV and being with his family. Greg and Denise would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of those who have helped take care of David over the years but a very special thank you to Lori Frey who has been assisting with his care since 2011. In lieu of flowers, David would like to have contributions in his memory go to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trial North, York, PA 17405, to help a pet in need of being loved by someone special. God looked upon his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon this Earth and saw your tired face. He wrapped His arms around you, and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, for He only takes the best. We'll meet you again someday, at God's garden.
