David Earl Wilkinson, 70, died on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Julia E. (Stine) Wilkinson.
David was born in Columbia on September 30, 1955, son of Dawn Fay (Zink) Hoffer and the late Robert Leroy Wilkinson.

David traveled extensively throughout the world, including living in Germany for three years and spending time in the tundra while serving in the Army. He loved nature, hiking, and especially watching sunsets with his daughter. David cherished time spent with his family, particularly attending the annual family reunion each summer. He also enjoyed teaching his daughter and grandchildren about the solar system and sharing stories from his life and experiences.
