Dean Myers Reily, of Red Lion, went to his eternal home on Tuesday, June 23, 2021 at 2:50PM at his residence at the age of 88 with his wife, Iris Frederick Reily, by his side. Iris and Dean were married on December 11, 1954, sharing 66 years of marriage together. Dean was born in Red Lion Pennsylvania on November 30, 1932 to Robert J. and Flo I. (Myers) Reily. He was a graduate of Red Lion High School, class of 1950. After graduating, he worked with his father at Red Lion Radiator and then joined the USMC, serving during the Korean War. After his time in the military, he went to Indiana Tech, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He went on to graduate school at the University of Maryland, receiving a Master's Degree in Mathematics. Dean worked for EPCO (Engineering Physics Company) in Maryland and then American Machine and Foundry (AMF), retiring in 1985, at age 53, after many years with the company. Dean enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, gardening. Iris and Dean toured 49 states in the US and every providence and territory in Canada over an 11 year period, living out of a 21 foot Scotty camper trailer. Besides his loving wife, Dean leaves behind his son, Michael Reily and wife, Tami, of Grass Lake, MI and Patrick Reily and wife, Doretta, of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves behind his two grandsons, Joel and Nathan Reily, both of Atlanta, GA and two granddaughters, Katherine (Katie) Keena, and husband, James, and Gillian Smith and husband, Gregory, as well as his two great grandchildren, Charlie and Reily Keena, all of whom live in MI. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
