Deborah "Debbie" D. (Davis) Bloss entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 30 at the residence of her daughter, Kim, after a lengthy illness, at 3:19 p.m. Sunday, at the age of 60. She was the wife of Lee E. Bloss who entered into rest on Sept. 8, 2013. Debbie was born in Lebanon on November 4, 1954 and was the daughter of Spurgeon P. and the late Lottie M. (McCarty) Sanders. Debbie was a Dental Assistant at Family First Health. Survivors include a daughter, Kim M. Forney and husband, Matthew of Windsor; a son, Chad M. Strawbridge of York; two grandchildren, Morgan K. Forney and Bella S. Christensen; a brother, Douglas D. McCarty of Manchester, a sister, Tammie Sanders of Red Lion; two nephews, Terry L. McCarty and Shaine A. McCarty; and a niece, Hope M. Speranza; great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kim M. Althouse. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Debbie will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Brendan L. Hock, pastor of Chapel Church, United Methodist Congregation will officiate.
