Deborah S. (Gotwalt) Baker, of Wrightsville, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the age of 72. She was the wife of Jeffrey L. Baker.

Debbie was born in York on August 30, 1952, to Delores Mae (Shouck) Hansford, of York, and the late Cletus Edmund Gotwalt, Sr. Debbie dedicated 17 years of her career to the former Anvil International in Columbia, where she worked as a grinder before retiring. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing the comforts of home. A devoted animal lover, Debbie had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially dogs.

Besides her husband, she leaves her son, Eric E. Gotwalt, her grandchildren, Samone, Summer, and Austin Gotwalt. She will be missed by her brother, Richard L. Gotwalt, and her sisters, Kim, Babette and Giget Gotwalt. She was preceded in death by her brother, Cletus E. Gotwalt, Jr.

A viewing for Debbie will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, beginning at 11:00 am. A funeral service will start at 12:00 pm with Chaplain Donald K. Alspaugh of Memorial White Rose Home Health & Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in Canadochly Cemetery.
