Deborah Lynn (Spaulding) Cearfoss, of Red Lion, went from life to Life Eternal on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 7:02 pm at her residence with family by her side at the age of 68. She was the wife of Nelson W. Cearfoss to whom she married on July 17, 1974, celebrating 44 years together. She was born in New Castle, PA on October 8, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Ruby C. (Dicks) Spaulding. Deborah graduated from New Castle High School, class of 1967. She enjoyed shopping, going to flea markets, playing cards, visiting historical museums and taking day trips. She was the housekeeper at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Red Lion for 17 years. Besides her husband, Nelson, she has a son, Nelson W. Cearfoss, Jr. of Sandusky, OH and a daughter, Erin M. Fry and her husband Bill of N. Wales, PA. She was a very devoted and proud grandmother to Liam H. and Connor N. Fry, and was the sister of, David, Keith and Robert Spaulding, Lorry Gentile and Claudia Nogee. She also has numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be on Friday, July 27th, from 10-11 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Memorial Service of Honor and Praise for Deborah will begin at 11 with Rev. David Y. Norris, retired United Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, HE SET ME FREE.
