Deborah Ann (Wynegar) Swartz, of York, died peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the age of 71. She was the wife of Sterling E. Swartz to whom she married on September 11, 1967.

Deborah was born in York on May 5, 1952 to the late James L. and Audrey R. (Amig) Wynegar. She found solace and joy in nurturing her garden and cherished the moments she spent outside. Most importantly, Deobrah loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband, she leaves her sons, Dustin E. Swartz of York and Zane T. Swartz of York. She will be missed by her daughters, Tabitha A. Swartz of Harrisburg and Kacey S. Swartz and companion, Charles Grimm of York. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Daine L. Swartz of Canada, Alexis D. Keller of York, Hailey C. Keller of York, Devyn N. Keller of York, Ayden J. Grimm of York, Taryn Williams of Harrisburg, and Damien Williams of Harrisburg. She also leaves several great-grandchildren of Harrisburg as well as her beloved dog, WiFi. He brought her immeasurable joy and companionship in her final days.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
