Delores M. "Sis" Kile, of Dallastown, accepted the hand of Jesus on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 9:45 pm at Promedica Skilled Nursing Center at the age of 86. She was the long-time companion of the late Vernon Aldinger of Dallastown.
Sis was born in York on May 17, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Clair L., Sr. and Elsie E. (Swords) Kile. She attended the Violet Hill One Room School House and attended Winterstown United Methodist Church. Sis loved the challenge of putting jigsaw puzzles together, watching television and listening to old time country music.
She was one of five children, leaving her three brothers: Robert E. Kile of Felton, Donald L. Kile and his wife, Margaret, of Scranton and Clair L. Kile, Jr. of Spring Grove, as well as her sister, Carol A. Singel and her husband, Andy, of Harrisonville, PA. She also has an uncle, Arthur "Mic" Kile, and his wife, Merlee, of Kentucky, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing for Sis will be on Tuesday, July 5th from 6-7 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, with a Service of Honor and Praise beginning at 7 pm. Rev. Joshua A. Wargo, Pastor of Chapel Church, will be officiating the service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to a charity of your choice in memory of Sis.
