Dennis A. Fink, of York, entered into rest at Wellspan York Hospital on Friday, December 30, 2023 at the age of 81. He was the husband of Susan E. (Darr) Fink to whom he married on his birthday in 1963, sharing 60 years together.

Dennis was born in Columbia, PA on September 8, 1942 and was the son of the late Paul Austin and Miriam (Lefever) Fink. He was employed with Apple Hill Medical Center as a medical receiver.

In his spare time, Dennis loved being outdoors, going camping, riding his bike, fishing and loved all animals, especially cats. He was a member of York Seventh-Day Adventist Church in York. Along with his wife, he leaves his daughters, Lisa A. Schildt of York and Denise E. Kottmyer and husband, Michael of Spring Grove, as well as his six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He leaves his brother, Stewart E. Fink of Dover. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Heltebridle in 1999.

A Memorial Service for Dennis Austin Fink will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 3:00 pm with a reception to follow at York Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2220 Roosevelt Ave., York, PA 17408-8503. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
