Donald R. Dravk, of Brogue, entered into rest on Wednesday evening, on May 25, 2022 from his residence, at the age of 68. He was the husband of the late Tammy L. (Alloway) Dravk who entered into rest on March 19, 2017.
He was born in York on November 18, 1953 and was the son of the late Matthew, Sr. and Margaret A. (Luckenbaugh) Dravk. Don graduated from Red Land High School and worked as a mechanic. He was employed for many years with First Student in Glen Rock. Don enjoyed working, watching cartoons, collecting trains and NASCAR racing, and spending time with Sam.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his only daughter, Samantha A. Dravk of Brogue. He was one of twelve children. Don leaves a brother, Paul Dravk (Vickie) of Hummelstown, and four sisters, Helen Zeigler of Etters, Mary Taylor (Bill) of Lake, MI, Margaret Elstradt (Melvin) of York and Christine Dorwart (Harry) of New Cumberland, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Matthew, Jr., Francis, Michael, and John and three sisters, Eleanor Heffner, Anna Poe, and Phyllis Jean Dravk.
Viewing for Don will be on Tuesday, May 31st, from 6-7 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 7 pm with Rev. Joshua Wargo, pastor of Chapel Church in Red Lion will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
