Donald has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom he was close, all of whom hold close, strong family bonds with one another. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald E. Minnich and his maternal grandparents, Clayton F., and Gloria E. Paules.
Family and friends are invited to share condolences during the time of viewing on Friday, September 4th, from 9-10 am at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Road, Delta. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating, in memory of Donald, to New Covenant Community Church at the address listed above.
Do not grieve for me, for now I am free. I am following the path God has laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to live, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I have found my peace at the close of the day. If parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Do not lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift your heart and share with me, He wanted me now; He set me free.
