Donalene V. Burg, 86, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at York Hospital. She was born on June 6, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Glenn R. and Minnie M. (Henry) Burg. She was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School and York Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1949. Donalene was a registered nurse in York, Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Harrisburg facilities until her retirement. She was a member of the York Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She is survived by her brother, Glenn A. Burg and wife, Margaret of York; nephew, Daniel R. Burg and wife, Ann of Manchester; niece, Susan R. Burg Myers of Greenacres, Fla.; and great-nieces and nephews, Brandon Burg, Amanda Burg, Joshua Feo, Tessa Myers, and Layla Myers. There will be no funeral service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in East Prospect "Riverview" Cemetery. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
