Donna K. (Shelley) Ritz, of Hallam, left her earthly life, on February 25, 2022, at 9 pm, at Wellspan York Hospital, to join her loving husband Lance L. Ritz, to whom she was married for 55 years, prior to his passing on January 15, 2022. Donna joins her beloved sister, Joan Reichard and her forever friend, Bonnie Harrison in heaven. She was born in Red Lion, on March 27, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Luther O. and Edna I. (Anderson) Shelley, whom she adored. Donna worked as a waitress at the former Mack's Ice Cream in Spry for many years, where she got to know a lot of people. Donna was of the United Methodist Faith; she loved to watch the Little League World Series and spend time with her family. Donna and Lance had two daughters, Rhonda L. Smeltzer and husband Doug of Hallam and Renee L. Fake and companion Colin Bucchioni of Spring Grove. She was the loving grandmother to Jaclyn, Jordan, Mikey (Heather), Jandan (Brooks), Kobe and Ryder and great grandmother of Estee, Owen, Cruz, Everett, Clover and Dean who is due any day now. She also leaves behind her Shihtzu, Barney and parrot, Petie. Donna will be missed by her forever friends, Donald Knaub, Donna Rae Lister, and Judy Bassett. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
