Donna Loraine Wiland, 56, entered into rest suddenly on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Raymond E. Wiland, Sr. and Ethel L. Wollschlager Wiland, and was born in Albany, N.Y., on May 31, 1954. Donna was an agency nurse and was a loving and caring individual who always cared for the well being of others. She enjoyed knitting and being in the company of her pet "Bella". In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Raymond E. Wiland, Jr. and his wife, Fran of Jarrettsville, Md., and Ronald L. Wiland of Yorkana. She was the loving aunt to Christopher Wiland of Stewartstown, Ronay Wiland of Felton, and Randi Wiland of Felton; and her great-niece and nephew, Tyler and Abby Wiland. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles. She will be missed by her loving companion of many years, Gerald Geesey of Manchester. She was predeceased by her father and a sister, Raye Ann Wiland. The viewing will be on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
