Doris E. (Snyder) Ryer, 88, of Dallastown passed away on November 16, 2022, at The Gardens at Gettysburg. She was born in July of 1934 to William F. and Elsie (Hildebrand) Snyder. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Ryer. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her sister Shirley Snyder of Dallastown, a sister-in-law Sally Ryer, a stepdaughter Holly Jennings, and a step-niece Marion Wagman. In addition to her husband, Doris is predeceased by a nephew, Lee Alan Snyder. Doris was a housekeeper for the York Hospital for many years; it was a job she thoroughly enjoyed. In her free time, she loved to go shopping – especially grocery shopping because she also loved to cook. Final arrangements are at the convenience of the family.
