Edward A. Holtzapple, of Red Lion, went from life to Life Eternal on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 12:35 PM at his residence. He was the husband of the late Susan R. (Watkins) Holtzapple who died on December 19, 2012. Edward was the son of the late William E. and Goldie R. (Saylor) Holtzapple. He was a graduate of Red Lion Area High School, class of 1974 and was a general handyman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, being outdoors and traveling. He loved animals, especially his dogs who were waiting for him over the rainbow bridge. He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Holtzapple and granddaughter, Nadia, of York, his son, Jeremy Ackerley and husband, David, both of York. He leaves his brothers, Clifford and Whitney Holtzapple, both of Red Lion, as well as a stepdaughter, Kerry Kinnier Conley and stepson Patrick Kinnier and their families. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
