Obituary

Elizabeth "Libby" Aleine (Brenna) Gray, of Seven Valleys, entered in God's Eternal home after a lengthy illness with her family by her side on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:45 am at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Gray. Libby was born in Wood Township, Huntingdon County on April 10, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Adolph Franklin and Mae Kathryn (Donahue) Brenna. She worked at the former Equitable Trust as an auditor, retiring in 1980 after several years of service. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Jeff Gray and his wife Pamela of Landis, NC and a daughter with whom she resided, Kathy N. Willey and her husband Richard of Seven Valleys. She is a doting grandmother to her three grandchildren, Sarah B. Willey (Brian), Alisa E. Willey and Matthew R. Gray and a proud great grandmother to her great granddaughter, Marleigh Hall. She has two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Craig and Mike Brenna. There will be no viewing. Family and friends are invited to extend their condolences on Thursday, July 6th from 6-7 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc.., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Memorial Service of Honor and Praise for Libby will begin at 7 pm at the funeral home with Rev. David D. Tietje, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, Red Lion, officiating. Burial will be private at Dignity Cedar Hill Cemetery in Baltimore, MD at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to: Penn-Mar Human Services, 10709 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock, PA 17327. Libby was a very loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Her family was important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. She was a very generous person and she enjoyed volunteering, a way of sharing her love and compassion to others. If you could see me now, you wouldn't shed a tear. Though you may not understand, why I am no longer here. Allow Jesus to be your guide, His word will show you the way. So, please don't cry!
