On December 3, 2016 Ethel L. (Wollschlager) Wiland, of Red Lion, rejoined her husband Raymond E. Wiland, Sr. They were together for 53 years and now will be together for eternity. Married August 7, 1952, their lives were filled with love, adventure and togetherness. Born in Baltimore City, MD on June 2, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Standley W. and Myrtle M. (Miller) Wollschlager. Ethel worked as a machine operator at Olin Ordinance, formerly Flinchbaugh Products, retiring after many years of service. She was a singer and dancer with Equine Meadows, in Red lion. Ethel and Ray delivered meals for Meals on Wheels. She was the light the brightened a room. She was a social butterfly that made your heart smile. She is survived by two sons, Raymond E. Wiland, Jr. and his wife Fran of Jarrettsville, MD, Ronald L. Wiland and his wife Janine of Philippines; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Jeanette Hymiller of Baltimore, MD; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Rayann Wiland in 1957 and Donna L. Wiland in 2010 and 12 siblings. Viewing will be held on Wed., Dec 7th from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and continue until 8pm, after the service, at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The Service of Honor and Praise for Ethel will begin at 6:30pm Wednesday at the funeral home. A Graveside Service of Honor and Praise will be on Thursday, Dec. 8th at 11:00am at Baltimore National Cemetery; 5501 Frederick Ave., Baltimore, MD 21228.
