Frederick L. Snyder of Red Lion passed away on Sat., Nov. 5, 2016 at York Hospital at the age of 89. He was the husband of the late Rodessa V. (Kohler) Snyder whom passed away on July 12, 2008; they celebrated 64 years together. Frederick was born in Lower Windsor Twp. on July 8, 1927 and was the son of the late Artie C. and Ellie N. (Kinard) Snyder. He worked for the Red Lion Cabinet Co.; Red Lion Furniture as a paint sprayer and retired in 1990 from Zeil Brothers. He was a member of Yorkana Church of the Brethren. Frederick's main hobby and joy was building and repairing musical instruments. He is survived by a nephew, Rick Stine and was preceded in death by two sisters, Viola Frey and Rosenna Shoff. Viewing will be on Wed., Nov, 9th from 9 to 10 AM at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 10 AM at the funeral home with his pastor, Rev. David J. Krape officiating. Burial will follow at Stumps Union Cemetery ( New Fairview Church of Brethren Church Cemetery) .
