Gladys I. (Mull) Filmore, formerly of Craley, went from life to Life Eternal at her daughter's home in Port St. Lucie, FL on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 12:05am at the age of 85. She was the wife of the late Eugene R. Filmore who entered into rest on September 12, 2004. Gladys was born in Snyder County on December 30, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Mull) Scholl. She was employed with the former Wyeth Laboratories in Marietta where she retired from after 35 years of service. Gladys enjoyed camping and boating but mainly enjoyed "treasure hunting" in her spare time which included yard sales and trips to the local Goodwill. In addition, she loved to knit and crochet & had a true talent for refinishing old and tattered furniture. She leaves behind her daughters, Lynn A. Ontiveros and husband, Henry, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Deborah J. Weltman and husband, Roger, of Oreland, PA, Tina L. Filmore, of Wrightsville and sons, Ryan E. Filmore and partner, Sherie Horne, of Wrightsville and Craig S. Filmore, of Wrightsville, as well as her eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Loretta Portner, of Mt. Joy, as well as her nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria McKain who entered into rest on June 13, 2004 and her great grandson, Cecil Escalada who entered into rest on July 30, 2021. A visitation for Gladys will take place on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10-11 AM at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 11 AM with Rev. David D. Tietje, of St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion, officiating.
