Grace M. (Jennings) Neff, of York, entered into rest at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the age of 95. She was the wife of the late Nevin R. Neff who died on March 19, 2007.

She was born in Calamus, Iowa on March 15, 1928 to the late Thomas B. and Alice Myrtle (Sherwood) Jennings. Grace graduated from Bettendorf Schools and earned her certification from the American Dental Assistants Certification Board.  She retired in August 1990 from the office of Dr. David August in York.  An avid reader, Grace also enjoyed word puzzles, playing bingo in her earlier years, shopping and trips to Ocean City, Maryland. She was conscientious about her overall health and until she was 90 years old, went for 2 walks everyday throughout her neighborhood. Grace was a member of Bethlehem Life Church of Dallastown for over 70 years.

Grace leaves her son, David E. Miller and wife, Diane of West Virginia and her two daughters, Dixie L. Smith of Dover and Deanna L. Evans and husband, Glenn of York. She also leaves her stepson, Barry L. Neff and wife, Terry of Cedar Creek, Texas. She leaves her 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Troy Turner on October 7, 2022 and her siblings, John B. Jennings, Arthur W. Jennings, George H. Jennings, Ethel M. Plunkett, Franklin E. Jennings, Bertha M. Conger, Thomas J. Jennings, Edith A. Licht, and Charles R. Jennings.

A visitation for Grace will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at Bethlehem Life Church, 109 E. Main Street, Dallastown, PA 17313. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 am with Rev. David Stough officiating. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered in memory of Grace to Bethlehem Life Church, 109 E. Main Street, Dallastown, PA 17313.
