Obituary

Harley Lehman Felton, 62, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 6:13 p.m. at York Hospital. He was the husband of JinLiang Cai of Airville. He was born in Johnstown, on December 10, 1952, the son of Melvin B. Felton of Windber, and the late Marjorie J. (Lehman) Felton. Harley was an Engineer, working for the former Transystems in York, for many years, and currently he was employed by the Barry Wehmiller Design Group in York. He was a member since 1991 and a charter member of New Covenant Community Church in Delta where he participated in the Worship Team. In addition to his wife JinLiang of Airville, he is survived by two sons, Derek L. Felton of Red Lion and Qi Li of Airville; a sister, Mindy J. (Felton) Wasilewski (Al) of Newtown; and a brother, Darrell D. Felton of Thomastown, Georgia; two nieces, Kelly Wasilewski of Aston, and Shannon Wasilewski of Newtown; and a brother-in-law, Dan Felton-Petry of Bent Mountain, Virginia. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie L. Felton-Petry who entered into rest September, 2014. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Road, Delta. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion will be assisting the family with the arrangements. A Service of Honor and Praise for Harley will begin at Noon on Wednesday at the church. His pastor, Lanny Kilgore will officiate, assisted by Art Dean, Associate Pastor of the church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens and will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, it is the wishes of the family that contributions be offered to: New Covenant Community Church, c/o- Derek Felton and Qi Li, "Educational Fund", 284 Slab Road, Delta, PA 17314. Harley and JinLaing married on November 13, 2005, celebrating nine wonderful years of marriage. He was a wonderful Dad to Derek who loved to hear his stories and to Qi Li to whom he taught how to be an American, how to play the piano and shared his love of music. Harley was in a Quartet, "In Harmony Vocal Band" and he was part of the band "Full Tilt" for the past 29 years where he played the Trombone and was the Bass background singer.
