Obituary

Harriet M. (Weaver) Fillmore, of Shrewsbury, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the age of 84. She was the wife of George N. Fillmore Jr. who entered into rest September 6, 2016. Born in Marietta September 24, 1937, Harriet was the daughter of Benjamin F. Sr. and Blanche (Kurtz) Weaver. She was a homemaker. Harriet enjoyed word searches, plastic canvas and painting and digital coloring on her phone. She enjoyed time with her family. She was a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Long Level. She leaves a daughter, Debra J. Fillmore-Urey, of Felton, her sons, Mahlon E. Fillmore and wife, Karen of Shrewsbury, Larry L. Fillmore and wife, Beverly of York, Pastor Mark A. Fillmore and wife, Ruth Ann of Red Lion, Bart N. Fillmore of Luray, VA and Michael D. Fillmore of Liberty, KY. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Benjamin Weaver, Grace Derr and Blanche Weaver. There is a private family viewing only. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11 am, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2100 Fishing Creek Rd., Wrightsville, PA 17368. Burial will take place at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens at 2 pm. Those wishing to attend graveside service please meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 1:45 pm. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements. Contributions in Harriet's name may be offered to Ebenezer Baptist Church. The mailing address is 247 Albert Ln., Red Lion, PA 17356.
