Hazel V. (Anderson) Warner, formerly of Brogue, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from Dallastown Nursing Center at the age of 95. She was the wife of the late Dennis E. Warner who entered into rest on August 8, 2005.
Hazel was born on April 9, 1928 in Lower Chanceford Township to the late Stewart W. and Emma E. (Johnson) Anderson. Upon graduating from Lower Chanceford High School, she was a dedicated employee of the Red Lion Cigar Factory where she worked as a canner for several years before becoming a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of New Harmony Presbyterian Church.
She leaves her sisters, Jessie Stephenson of Mont Alto and Ellen Harvey of Delta as well as her nephew, Robert E. Druck and companion Wanda Tyson of Red Lion along with her other nieces and nephews. She leaves her sister-in-law, Betty Trout of Brogue. Hazel was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret A. Sinclair on June 4, 2013 and Dorothy A. Hesser on April 19, 2020.
A graveside service for Hazel will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm at New Harmony Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2295 Delta Rd, Brogue, PA 17309, with her pastor, Rev. Pamela N. Leach officiating. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to New Harmony Presbyterian Church, 2295 Delta Road, Brogue, PA 17309.
