J. Kenneth "Ken" Laucks, Jr., of Red Lion, entered into God's care on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:42 am at Wellspan York Hospital at the age of 83. He was the loving husband of Betty A. (Altland) Laucks who entered into rest on December 11, 2019. Ken was born in Windsor on August 10, 1937 and was the son of the late J. Kenneth, Sr. and Vera R. (Hivner) Laucks. He graduated from Red Lion High School, Class of 1955. Ken was self employed as an Industrial Caterer, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Red Lion Elks, AARP, and Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion. He leaves his four children, Lisa G. Germick and husband Stephen of York, Julie A. Urey and husband Ralph (Buddy) of Red Lion, Steven M. Laucks and wife Carol of Red Lion and David A. Laucks and wife Pamela of Red Lion. He was the grandfather of Jeremy, Shane, Nathaniel, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Budd and Amanda and great grandfather of nine great grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Blevins in 2003. Viewing will be on Monday, March 29th, from 10-11 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service to Honor and Praise for Ken will begin at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Marty T. Young, Interim Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, officiating.
