James Bygall of Brogue, passed from his earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 12 pm, at the age of 77. He was the loving husband of Marilyn H. (Stock) Bygall of Brogue, to whom he married on October 14, 1967, celebrating 55 years together. He was born in Buffalo, New York, on January 28, 1945, and was the son of the late Edmund and Lydia (Duscynski) Bygall. James graduated from Frontier Central High School in Buffalo, NY in the class of 1964. He served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War. He was a manager at Jerry's Food Markets from 1983 to 1998, working as a butcher, and then retired in 2008 from the state of PA, as the manager of special events. James was a very handy man and could fix anything, he enjoyed carpentry and was a skilled craftsman. He is remembered as being amazingly creative. He loved life and spending time with his family. Besides his wife Marilyn, he leaves a son, Bradley J. Bygall and his wife Beth of York Haven and a daughter, Rhonda J. Greenstreet and her husband Matthew of Wellsville. He was the loving grandfather to Zachary and Natalie Bygall, and he leaves a sister, Judith Barone of Hamberg, NY, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Service of Honor and Praise for James will be held on Tuesday, October 18th, at 3 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc. 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Viewing will be from 2-3 pm for family and friends to share condolences. Rev. Gary Lathrop, Dauphin County Police Chaplain will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
