James Barry Hackler, Jr. of Windsor entered into rest after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at 6:25 p.m.at his residence at the age of 39.
James was born in York on May 6, 1971 and was the son of James Barry Hackler, Sr. and Barbara Marie (Pearce) Pruitt.
He was employed as a carpenter. James was a 1990 graduate of Galeton High School. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed racing, car shows and football. He also attended Keystone Baptist Church at Dairyland Square in Red Lion.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Marie Pruitt of Glen Rock and husband Robert; his father, James Barry Hackler, Sr. of Windsor and Barbara Zoller; a sister, Sherry Lynn Hill of Felton and husband John; a half-sister, Amanda Walker of Yorkanna; two half-brothers, James Pruitt of Lebanon and wife Loyda, Robert Pruitt of Manchester and wife, Marie; a stepbrother, Shane Gillespie of Glen Rock and wife Jennifer;
grandmother, Sarah (Brown) Wallace of MD as well as Carla Hackler and her daughter, Samantha Weekley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Stewartstown.
