James L. Miller, Jr., of Delta, died at his home on July 21, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born on November 8, 1951, in Baltimore City, Maryland, James was the son of the late James L. Miller, Sr., and Alyne Dare (Gum) Miller. He spent much of his life working as a skilled flooring installer and was proud to be self-employed.

James was an avid sportsman who especially enjoyed crabbing, hunting and fishing.

James is remembered fondly by a wide circle of close friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Hunter Miller.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements on behalf of Harkins Funeral Home.
