James P. Warner, age 85, of New Park, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 24, 2025. Born in New Park on October 9, 1939, he was the son of the late William Porter and Ena (Howett) Warner.

James was the devoted husband of Norma Jean (Braun) Warner, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. They built a life together filled with love, hard work, and family.

A 1957 graduate of Kennard-Dale High School, James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army before returning home to run the family farm—a place he cared for his entire life. Whether tending to his cows or planting fields of potatoes, he was always dedicated to the land he loved.

James will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. His legacy of kindness, hard work, and dedication to family will live on in those who knew him.

A private celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.
