Jane L. Arnold, 74, of Felton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Born in York on June 19, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Samuel C. Baker Sr. and Martha E. (Axe) Baker. She was the devoted wife of the late William E. "Bill" Arnold Sr., who preceded her in death on September 14, 2011.

Jane dedicated many years to York Hospital, working in both the housekeeping and central sterile supplies departments. She had a warm, giving spirit and delighted in the simple joys of life—traveling with Bill, shopping for little treasures, cooking big meals for her loved ones, trying her luck at the casino, and spending time with her dogs. Most of all, Jane cherished moments surrounded by her family, especially those spent at her beloved beach house in Trails End on the Chincoteague Bay.

She is survived by her children, Lora J. Koller and her husband, Thomas; Melinda A. "Minnie" Morris and her husband, Scott; Raymond E. "Butch" Hengst III and his wife, Angela; and William E. Arnold Jr. and his companion, Beth Painter; her grandchildren, Cory, Natasha, Tessa, Tyler, and Taylor; her great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Anya, Sophia, and Zachary; and her siblings, Christine M. Sprenkel and her husband, Bradd; Samuel C. Baker Jr.; Donald E. Baker and his wife, Kelly; Glenna D. Goheen and her husband, Robert; and Elizabeth K. Baker. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney L. Baker, and her treasured granddaughter, Chelsie.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, a public viewing will begin at 10am and the service will begin at 11am with her son-in-law Scott Morris officiating.
