Jane Frances (Harris) Shirey, formerly of Glen Rock, went from life to Life Eternal, on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at her residence in Goodlettsville, TN, at 6:41 am at the age of 86. She was born in Paterson, New Jersey, on August 24, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Charles Albert and Esther Catherine (Brutzman) Harris. Jane was a parts handler at the former Caterpillar, Inc., in York, retiring after more than 20 years of service. She was of the Catholic Faith, she enjoyed listening to music, dancing, she love her home and especially enjoyed the times spent with her family, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren with unconditional love. She leaves her son, Steven Shirey of Goodlettsville, TN and her son in law, Thomas Corritore of Goodlettsville, TN and a son, Chris Shirey on TN. She was the loving grandmother of four grandchildren, Clint Walker, Crystal Walker, Jamie Leiphart, Jill Streavig and great grandmother of three, Walker Broander, Cole Walker and Caleb Walker, along with many nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Shirey, along with Deb Edwards, and siblings, Mary Phelps, Lois Schuhart, Robert Harris, Michael Harris. Viewing will be on Friday, December 20th, from 10-11 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Burial will immediately follow the viewing in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in New Freedom, with Father Bob assisting with the committal service.
