Jeanne Elizabeth (Wackerow) Kleve, age 67, of Red Lion, PA, formerly of Rochester and Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, with her devoted husband and best friend, Norman Lawrence Kleve, by her side on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Born in Rochester, NY, on March 7, 1958, she was the beloved daughter of the late Herman Raymond and Dorothy (Bundschuh) Wackerow. Jeanne and Norm shared a loving marriage and were united on May 28, 2001.

Jeanne dedicated much of her life to education, serving as a substitute grade school teacher and an adult education IT teacher in Rochester and Syracuse. Later, after meeting and marrying Norm, she continued her professional journey as a property manager in California, bringing the same care and responsibility to her work that she showed in all aspects of her life.

A woman of faith and music, Jeanne was a longtime member of The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word in Rochester. She found great joy singing in the church choir and treasured the opportunity to tour Europe several times with fellow members. Above all, Jeanne had a deep love for animals and cherished the companionship of her pets, especially her American Eskimo Dog, “Topper”, and her long-time canine companion, “Patches”.

In addition to her husband, Norm, Jeanne is survived by her brothers, Milton and David Wackerow, and her dear relatives, Marge and Bob, all of whom will fondly remember her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit.

A graveside service to celebrate Jeanne’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY.
