Joann (Shultz) Schmuck, of Dallastown, died peacefully with her granddaughter by her side on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the age of 84.

Born in York on August 19, 1940, Joann was the daughter of the late Norman William and Helena Frances (Painter) Shultz. Joann worked at Honeywell as a production worker and had a deep love for the holidays. She took pride in decorating her home, especially during Halloween and Christmas, and enjoyed baking her Christmas Cookies. She was known to prepare wonderful meals for her loved ones and was especially known for her Thanksgiving dishes and filling balls, as well as her peanut butter eggs for Easter, all made with love. Her garden was a source of pride, with her carefully tended rose bushes being a highlight of her work. She loved to sing and dance, and especially loved being with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her granddaughter, Kala M. Casagrande and husband, Joseph of York, her two grandsons, Brett D. Blasser and wife, Sarah of York, and Bryan S. Blasser and wife, Amber of York. She leaves her great-grandsons, Kielen and Lowen Casagrande of York, her great-granddaughters, Bryanna and Kaitlyn Blasser, both of York, and her great-grandson, Brayden Blasser of York, her sister, Faye M. Wantz of York, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina M. Enfield and her brothers, Norman and Wayne Shultz.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
