John W. Krug, Jr., of York, entered into rest on May 14, 2020, at Hospice and Community Care of Lancaster at 5:00 PM at the age of 93. John was born in York on April 22, 1927 and was the son of William Krug and Elsie Mae (Eisenhower) Lehman. He leaves behind two sons, Kristopher D. Krug of Massachusetts and Timothy M. Krug of Idaho, as well as his one grandson, Gabriel Krug. John also leaves behind his close friend, Patricia Mantilla and was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene. John enjoyed gardening and loved pets of all kinds. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran. Cremation has taken place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
