John E. Salter, was welcomed to his Heavenly home by Jesus and family on December 4, 2020. He was the husband of Gloria (Gipe) Salter. John was born in York on June 11, 1938 and was the son of the late John E. and Gladys G. Salter. He was the father of Lori, John and Matthew Salter and stepfather to Rae Thompson and Dustin Smith and he was the brother to Byron. He worked for PA&S Small and attended the Red Lion Bible Church. Viewing will be on Thursday, December 10th, from 6-7 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. There will be no service at this time and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
